You can sign up for the Chess Festival Groningen 2024 using the form below. Please complete the registration form first (finishing with the -Sign up-button), and only then proceed to payment via the site with the form at the bottom of this page.
Entry Fee:
– Open Tournament (A, B, C) € 90,-
– Minis € 30,-
– Groninger Compact € 50,-
– Senior Tournament € 50,-
You can bankwire the entry fee to: NL26 INGB 0007 1113 01 attn. Stichting Schaakfestival Groningen, including the name of the participants.

Note: For payments later than 13 December (Open) and 20 December (Compact / Senior) the entry fees are € 100,- and € 60,- respectively and payment in cash at the playing hall on day 1 is required.
In the Open B and C a bye (half a point) is possible in one of the first five rounds.
In the Groninger Compact and Senior Tournaments a bye (half a point) is possible in round 1 (26 December) only.
Note: Players with a bye in the first round must confirm their attendance in round 2 on the day of round 1 before 18.00 hrs. Without this confirmation these players won’t be paired for round 2. (arbiter.chessfestival@gmail.com)
